Robert is a contemporary Fine Art artist and photographer. His Western Art Paintings and Southwest landscapes photography grace the walls of many homes and offices and he has been published worldwide in magazines and corporate publications. Several years ago he wanted to add another level to his work and that is when he ventured into the world of digital painting.
Robert is becoming known for his innovative commissioned portraits and expressive Western Art Paintings and Southwest landscapes that are inspired by a limitless new world of artistic possibilities. These extraordinary images represent the blending of photographic and new technology painting techniques that capture a mood and expression in Western lifestyles and of the cowboys/cowgirls that exist in this fascinating world and the landscapes they call "home".
As a respected Portrait & Fashion photographer for over 30 years, Robert turned his attention to adding digital expression to his studio offerings.
“My passion has always been to create works of art, either in photographic portrait imagery or painted Western Art pieces that become heirlooms images for the families and collectors.”
"Photography has given me the skill set in lighting, composition and visual appeal to make the move to digital painting. The finished piece is the result of combining art and technology to produce an emotionally and visually charged work of art. My greatest reward is when someone "connects" with one of my pieces. After all, that is the goal of most artists...to pass the emotion and story that inspired the artist to create the work to the new owner. When this happens, I am a happy person."
